A DESIRABLE PANT SPLIT

Pants have been huge. Culottes, paperback trousers, bell bottoms, with the right pair of pants, you can easily and effortlessly make an outfit. I found these gems at a small boutique in China when I was back home visiting.

The patterns on the pants are super feminine and romantic, but tame enough to still be practical to wear. What really makes these pants are the huge slits on BOTH legs. The fabric flows freely as you walk which, let me be honestly, isn’t really the most convenient thing for moving around. The summer-y silhouette it creates, however, is definitely worth the inconvenience.

I paired the pants with a simple white off-the-shoulder top, which has already made an appearance in one of my previous posts. It does not take away from the spotlight on the pants, but still keeps the romantic, girly tone of the outfit. I added some lace-up espadrilles and a straw hat to complete the look.
